The are a wide range of music clubs, groups, bands, choirs and ensembles on offer at Trinity Academy.  Key performances include The Christmas Concert and The Spring Fling.

Wind Band - Monday lunchtime - A47

This is the main wind band, which rehearses and performs in concerts and public performances.  All Students of brass and woodwind instruments are welcome.  Remember to bring your lunch with you!

Senior Choir - Monday lunchtime - B43

Open to all S4,S5 and S6 singers.  The group is an elite one, performing challenging, often self-directed, material at many public performances and concerts. The groups is free of charge to join and very social in atmosphere.  Bring your lunch!

S1 & S2 Music Club - Monday 3.30pm - B43

Expand your skills in a social setting, trying out and practising instruments new and old, and developing as a musician at your own pace amongst other interested S1 and S2 pupils.  For the last two years, the S1 and S2 Music Club have performed at both The Christmas Concert and The Spring Fling.  The club is free to join and is open to all interested S1 and S2 pupils, of any ability.

String Orchestra - Tuesday lunchtime - A47

This is the biggest String group at Trinity, which rehearses and performs in school concerts and other public performances.  All string players are welcome to join.  Remember to bring your lunch with you!

Guitar Ensemble - Tuesday lunchtime - B42

This is a change for all guitarists to play a variety of challenging material.  They are regular performers at all the school concerts, as well as providing the music for the Prize-Giving ceremony at the end of the school year.  All guitarists are welcome to join.  Remember to bring your lunch with you!

S3 Music Club - Tuesday from 3.30pm to 4.30pm -  B43

Building from the previous S1 and S2 Music Club, expand your skills in a social setting, trying out and practising instruments new and old, and developing as a musician at your own pace amongst other interested S3s.  The club is free to join and open to all interested S3 pupils.

S4 Music Club - Wednesday lunchtime - A47


Teacher in charge : Mr McLaren


A group of dedicated musicians getting together on Wednesday lunchtimes and trying to put together cover versions of famous pop and rock songs.  They have performed at several public performances over the last few years.


All interested S4, of any ability, are welcome to join and the club is free of charge.

Jazz Band - Wednesday lunchtime - B42


Teacher in charge : Mr Morgan


The Jazz Band rehearses and performs in concerts and public performances.  It is the most prestigious of wind ensembles, with only those students who have progressed to a high level able to join.  They have consistently been dazzling performers at The Christmas Concert and The Spring Fling.

The largest of all music clubs and ensembles.  Last year, there were over 100 members!  Join in and be part of all the concerts and public performances, both in school and out.
